I have been coming to Topsail Island for 15 years and this is the first time I have tried these dogs. The service was friendly and fast. This has to be the best hotdog i have ever eaten. Sitting outside in the ocean breezes makes the experience even better. It is located near the pier.

Honestly the hot dogs are basic. You get better value for money by going to the pier across the street or to "surf dog" down the road. The fries flat out sucked but the one thing it has going for it are their lower prices.

Great place, with great food. You gotta try a hotdog with pulled pork and slaw on it!

Good food for the price. Hotdog and Mac n cheese was $6. Nice that it has outdoor seating. Very close to the beach.

Very good hot dogs. Got the surfer dog. Very good flavor. Frys were good. So was the nachos. A little expensive, but worth the price. Definitely recommend.

My family and I love coming here! My husband and I frequently go on dates to the Surf City Pier when we're here, and we always make a stop here afterwards. Recently we took my 6 month old daughter here for shaved ice! I love the food and the atmosphere! The menu is very kid friendly! The hot dogs are great quality and like the slogan - "The best 7 inches I've ever had!"

I had the Carolina Dog (pictured) and the Chicago Dog. Buns were perfectly steamed. Dogs are good, Sabrett dogs. Toppings were good - but not necessarily authentic. The Chicago had relish and the Sabrett onions in sauce - I'm accustomed to a Chicago dog getting "dragged through the garden" - pickle spear, tomato slice, sport peppers, green relish, mustard, celery salt.Carolina dog's toppings were okay.Fries were seasoned crinkle fries and were on point.Fun atmosphere, friendly service, great "I'm vacationing at the beach and having a hot dog" place.Service was timely, too. I'd recommend it!

Owner was very rude. I have gone here for years and gotten a cotton candy snow cone every weekend . They will not be getting my business any more.

Let me start a few by saying that I always have been and always will be a Bright Leaf hotdog fan.Alright, with that out of the way, I had an amazing experience at this place.We had a crew OD seven and once we placed our order we had it within 5 minutes. They are on their game with prep time. I was really impressed.I tried the New Yorker Dog which comes with Spicy Mustard and a Red Onion Sauce. It was delicious. The hotdog was juicy and full of flavor. The bun was super soft. It was a great hotdog. My wife had the Hot, Hot Dog which comes with spicy mustard, cheese sauce and jalapeños. I tried it as well and it was amazing too. It's cash only but there is an ATM on site so be prepared for that. Also it is outside seating only, but it is worth it. It was a great hotdog. They have ice cream as well. You will definitely want to stop by here when in the area.

The fries were soggy and the hot dogs were gross and the person at the counter wasn’t too nice. It was so expensive too, and my fries were soggy frozen French fries that I think they microwaved in the back.

We tried almost every dawg they had in a 3 time visit. Nice owners and very personable. Would go back in a heartbeat when we visit Surf City!!

Hot Diggity Dogz is the perfect place to go if your looking for a great snack or meal on the beach. They have a delicious variety of hot dogs, angus burger toppings, and desserts. The restaurant is open air and roofed in case there’s a little rain during your meal. Great environment, and great service for a pretty good price; the only problem I have with the restaurant is they’re chocolate soft-serve is vanilla drizzled with chocolate. Nothing too big, just a let down from the expectation I had in mind.

This is authentic beach dining. Patio and outdoor seating. Affordable and fun.

I’m sure this place is great but I learned what kind of people run it today. I was running at my normal time today and it was a little hotter than normal. Not wanting to become a heat casualty I stopped by and asked for a small cup of ice and they told me I would have to pay 50 cents, I told them I didn’t have anything on me and walked away. I went next door and they happily helped me. Point here is you can’t always choose who you do business with but would you rather do business with someone that will help people in need or with people who would just keep walking because they’d rather save 5 cents then possible save a life. (Maybe a little extreme but you get the point.). I made it home because someone cared less about 50 cents.

Popular spot, located right near the pier and public beach access. Good hot dogs and a fun atmosphere. Decent variety of beach fare. Picnic tables in front and quick service. Owners seem very nice. There was street construction which detracted some from the ambience. Have been multiple times and will continue to support this local business. If you visit Surf City this is a ‘must visit’ on your list.

My family and I came to surf city in july for vacation. Everyone was so nice. It's odd but for hot dogs they were great, like I said to them love the homemade sweet tea. Thank you for adding to out memories hope to come back

Amazing ice cream! My family and I were in town for vacation and went out to eat, afterwards we decided to find some ice cream. Super nice people. We will be coming back to eat next time we make it back this way.
